Nicolas began martial arts at 7 years old when he took up judo, which he continued until the age of 15. At age 19 he began boxing and then proceeded to take up submission grappling. He is the founder of Gracie-Barra South Africa and was the first person to be promoted to black belt under the legendary Roger Gracie. He is also the owner of and main contributor for the popular http://www.jiujitsubrotherhood.com
Now a full time instructor at the Roger Gracie Academy in West London and the oldest martial arts dojo in Europe - The Budokwai, Nic has been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 10 years. Along the way he has won numerous BJJ titles such as:
-Paris Open Champion 2006
-London Open Champion 2005
-South African National Grappling Champion 2005
-Grappler of the Year France 2007
-Gracie Invitational Champion 2006, 2007
-Absolute Submission Fighting 3 winner 2008
The Tokon Academy is extremely proud to host Nicolas on Saturday 24th January 2009. As ever this session will be completely open to all over the age of 16 and please feel free to pass on this email and its content to anyone you may think would like to attend the seminar.
